Ormskirk Beekeepers is a branch of Lancashire Beekeepers Association. We have around one hundred and eighty members to date and welcome aspiring and existing local beekeepers.
The branch, which is part of the L&NWBKA charity focusses on three areas
To promote and further the craft of beekeeping in Lancashire and the Northwest Area.
To do all that is necessary to keep members up to date on bee health and hive products issues.
To advance the education of the general public in the importance of bees in the environment.

We run an Introduction to Beekeeping Course once a year in the Spring which gives you both classroom based theory and practical experience before you need to buy any equipment.
